Football pundit Jamie Redknapp, 46, said he was approached by producers to take part on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! this series following his dad Harry Redknapp’s win last year, but turned down the offer as he believe he wouldn’t enjoy the experience as much as his dad did.
I would’ve shown my true side and be a bit miserable and angry
He said: “I got asked to do it this year but I just thought I’m not as funny as him and I’ve not got a relationship like him like he has with my mum, he won everyone over.
“I would’ve shown my true side and be a bit miserable and angry. I’m not really good at all those challenges but I would never say never.

The father-of-two went on to say that the lack of food in the camp didn’t bother his father, like it may have with his pal Ian Wright, 56, who is currently in the jungle.
