Fortnite Winterfest 2019 release date and start time is fast approaching, with the latest 14 Days of Fortnite challenges leaking ahead of launch. Fortnite fans are having tonnes of great content drop ahead of Christmas, with a new live event recently taking place ahead of the Winterfest launch. On Saturday Epic Games held their latest Fortnite live event, which saw a scene from the next Star Wars film screened exclusively in-game.

In the aftermath of the screening a Fortnite Star Wars crossover event launched which brought with it lightsabers and new challenges.

But this isn’t the only new event that is heading to Fortnite with dataminers discovering that Epic Games will only again be holding a Christmas event.

Leakers who rummaged through the Fortnite update 11.30 patch discovered details on the upcoming Fortnite Winterfest.

Fortnite Winterfest 2019 is the Chapter 2 incarnation of last year’s 14 Days of Fortnite.

Fortnite shows once again why it is THE Battle Royale game to beat

Dataminers have discovered that once again there will be 14 new challenges inbound which go live on a daily basis.

The release date for Fortnite Winterfest has also leaked, with it beginning Tuesday December 17 and finishing on Monday January 6 2020.

A start time hasn’t been revealed but it could begin around 2pm
