Steph McGovern, 37, has informed fans about her comeback to TV after welcoming her baby daughter into the world with her partner in November last year. The BBC Breakfast star, who is currently on maternity leave, took to Twitter to share the exciting news with her 388,000 followers this morning.

While wishing everyone a Happy New Year, the TV personality announced her new BBC show Easy Ways To Live Well will be airing later this month.

Steph revealed she will be starring alongside Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and This Morning presenter Dr Zoe Williams in the programme, which will show viewers how to tackle the nation’s biggest health concerns.

Alongside a screenshot of an article about the show, she wrote: “Happy New Year everyone! 

“Just surfaced from baby land to tell you that my new @BBCOne show with @HughFW + @DrZoeWilliams will be on the tellybox soon. Easy Ways To Live Well.

In an interview about the programme, Steph explained she is also hoping to go on her own journey to improve her health.

She said: “As well as trying to help others, Hugh and I also want to change ourselves.

“I’m always on the go, which means my health has often been the thing that suffers.
