Kate already celebrated at her royal country home at Anmer Hall last weekend with William. The couple have developed an annual tradition where they invite a few close friends to their Norfolk home, to enjoy activities only the countryside can offer, such as shooting. However, royal fans are wondering how if William has any other plans for Kate’s birthday this year, especially after her thoughtful gift for his 37th birthday in June last year.
The Duchess of Cambridge prepared a homemade present, with the help of her three children – a scrapbook filled with family photos and handmade pictures.
An insider told Life & Style magazine in December exactly what her husband had in plan for her.
The source said: “William wants to whisks their family away from it all on a no-expenses-spared trip to Mustique as a surprise for Kate. A big surprise!”
The insider claimed that it has been a “tough year” for the pair, after what the Queen described in her Christmas speech as a “bumpy” period.

The source added: “They’ll stay in a $15 million (£11.4million), seven-bedroom mansion with an infinity pool, private chef, screening room, gym and tennis court.
“William wants to ensure they get quality alone time as a couple, so he’s organising spa treatments, a diving trip and surfing lessons for two.
“George and Charlotte love Mustique – building sandcastles, swimming in the ocean, snorkelling and going on nature tours are just a few of their favourite activities.
“And now that Louis is a bit older, he can get involved too.”
