Israel holidays could be under threat amid escalating Iran and American tensions. A senior Iranian official has warned Iran will strike Israel if the USA were to respond militarily to any Iranian retaliation for the assassination of Qassem Soleimani. Israel is a long-time enemy of Iran.
Mohsen Rezayee, Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council and a former IRGC commander, issued the caution to the USA.
He said: "If the US takes any action after our military response, we will level Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground," reported Iran’s Fars News Agency.
Haifa is the third-largest city in Israel after capital Jerusalem and Tel Aviv boasting a number of tourist attractions.
