Political commentator Iain Dale snapped at a caller for spouting “Brexit negativity” and arguing against celebrating the UK leaving the EU on January 31. While on Jeremy Vine Show the caller introduced as Marion From East Sussex, insisted that she voted Leave but did not know whether it was worth celebrating as we did not yet know if the UK was better of outside the EU. She added that she voted leave due to fears of immigration and insisted that it needed to come down.
The caller said: “We don’t know if we are going to be better.
“Having said that, I will tell you that I did vote to come out of the EU.
“But we don’t know and won’t know possibly for years whether Brexit is totally beneficial.
“We don’t know if it was a sheer waste of time.
