ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE expert Rich Walker explained one of the shocking key areas in society that A.I technology will fail to replace humans.

As artificial intelligence continues to develop the new technology can be used for a variety of different purposes. Shadow Robot Company Director, Rich Walker explained to Express.co.uk that A.I will struggle to replace human to human communication. Mr Walker noted how advanced A.I can be programmed to have a conversation and reply in real-time with realistic answers.

However, he noted that A.I would have difficulties of replacing social interactions in the simplest scenarios like talking to a friend in a pub.

Mr Walker explained: “There are some great examples of people developing A.I system that show what you might see as compassion.

“There are some A.I chatbots that you talk to and they are just kind of friendly and helpful and supportive and nice to you.

“That is actually a really nice thing.
