David Bowie, the renowned British singer, would have been celebrating a big birthday in 2020. However, the star sadly died on January 10, 2016, at just 69 years of age. Bowie had been suffering with liver cancer when he died, just two days after the release of his final album, Blackstar.

The album was a huge success, winning British Album of the Year at the 2017 Brit Awards, and the Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rock Performance for the title song at the Grammy Awards in 2017.

According to aggregator Metacritic, Blackstar was the most critically acclaimed album of the year by music publications, showing how impressive the work really was.
However, fans who have been desperate for further David Bowie music will be glad to hear that two new releases are arriving on Record Store Day, 2020.
Parlophone, the label to which Bowie was signed, has confirmed the release of two EPs: David Bowie Is It Any Wonder? and ChangesNowBowie.
