1917 is a war epic, which recently bagged the award for Best Film - Drama at the Golden Globes. It is likely to take home similar accolades at the BAFTAs and Oscars, while Sir Sam Mendes will be vying for another Best Director gong. Many fans, however, are yet to see the film as it will not be released in cinemas until January 10.
