The IGTV documentary series will focus on the experiences of four first-year college students. Alongside her husband Barack Obama, Michelle is to premiere ‘A Year of Firsts’ as a series on Instagram’s video streaming service IGTV.
The series will include six episodes that shares personal stories of students.
Michelle retweeted a post from ATTN who are a higher education initiative who are partnering with the Obamas for the project.
The post included a video of Michelle describing the series and what it’s about as well as a caption from ATTN.
The post read: “Everyone should have the opportunity to attend college.

However, some Twitter users were not impressed by the new series and commented on the post.
One user said: “You guys have stolen enough of our tax payers hard earned money to afford to send EVERYONE to college and beyond!”
Another said: “What about a documentary of kids who want to go to college or a tech school but can’t…”
