Over the past year, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been steadfast in their attempt to maintain a wall of privacy. The couple decided not to follow royal tradition when it came to the birth of their first son, baby Archie, as they opted for a home birth and kept details of his christening under wraps. The Sussexes then decided not to give the newborn a royal title, choosing to name him Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, as they said they want the child to be raised as a private citizen.
Now, Meghan and Harry have decided to step back as senior members of the Royal Family and split their time between the UK and North America.
But royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has warned they will never be able to achieve the “ideal privacy” levels that they may seek.
He said: “The press will continue to be fascinated by every single thing they do throughout their lives.
“I don’t think it is going to be possible to have the ideal privacy that they would wish in an ideal world.”

Mr Fitzwilliams added that even if the couple decide to quit from the Royal Family completely, they will still not be able to shield themselves from the spotlight.
The expert predicted that their bombshell announcement, shared on their Instagram account sussexroyal last week, could be a prerequisite to the pair quitting the Royal Family altogether.
