Kelvin Fletcher, 36, has revealed “it’s always hard” to spend time apart from his wife Liz Marsland and their young children Marnie and Milo. The Strictly Come Dancing 2019 winner is currently away from home for the BBC show’s Live Tour and has been working hard with dance partner Janette Manrara.
In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk at the launch of the touring production, the former Emmerdale actor was quizzed on whether he finds it difficult missing out on quality time with his other half and their family due to his Strictly commitments.
He divulged: “Yeah, I guess like any couple and working parents, it’s always hard, but this is what we love to do.”
Kelvin went on to admit that although he finds it “tough” to be away from loved ones, he couldn’t resist the “opportunity” to continue pursuing his dance skills in “incredible arenas” on the tour.
He added: “We’ve been gifted with the opportunity to perform in these incredible arenas around the country.
