Anton Du Beke, 53, recently spoke about their relationship during an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women earlier this month. The Strictly Come Dancing star admitted over the years the pair have faced fertility struggles and what he witnessed his wife go through was “horrible”.
Anton was delighted when he became a dad for the first time at the age of 51, as he welcomed his twins - son George and daughter Henrietta - with his wife Hannah Summers, 42.
But the Strictly Come Dancing favourite has revealed it was not an easy time for the couple as Hannah struggled to conceive.
The ballroom professional has opened up about his wife’s “massive problems with endometriosis” which resulted in the twins being conceived by IVF.
Speaking on the show, Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha asked the dancer: “We know how tough it is for men to watch women go through labour. But to watch your wife go through IVF?”

The ballroom professional replied: “It was horrible. I’m in awe of Hannah. You have to have injections all the time.
“You have them in your stomach. But they're not little, invisible needles. They’re blunt things that they ram in. You have to get them in your backside.”
Nadia quizzed further: “Did you do any of the injections?”
Anton revealed he had to help his wife go through the rigorous process, saying: “I had to do [the injections] for her. Especially the ones in her behind.”
