Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs, will.i.am and Meghan Trainor will continue their hunt for the winning performance on the latest instalment of The Voice UK blind auditions this evening (January 25). All four coaches light-heartedly tease one another in-between auditions on the ITV contest and Tom and Olly have developed such a close bond during their time on the show together that the Welsh crooner helped persuade Olly not to “take a break” from music.
Speaking at the launch of the ITV series, Tom and Olly were asked what they had learnt from each other.
“I’ve learnt Olly is a very natural person which I like, what you see is what you get which is great,” Tom told press including Express.co.uk.
“He’s talented and he speaks his mind,” the Welsh crooner added.
Interrupting, Olly remarked: “Never give up, that’s what I’ve learnt from Tom.”

Olly explained there was a time where he considered taking a break from music but decided against it because of Tom.
“I feel like there wasn’t a time that was I going to give up [completely],” Olly continued.
“But I thought I'll take a break, I'll take the rest I'll do this.”
“And I thought why the f*** do you want to do that?” Olly added. “You know, you’ve got a guy standing next to you who’s having the career that he's having.
