Hugh Grant, 59, who has campaigned for the Labour Party and Liberal Democrats, is no stranger to sharing his political views. In his most recent interview with AP Entertainment, he branded the General Election 2019 result a “catastrophe”. The actor was asked if he is “encouraged” by the result of the recent vote, to which he replied: “No, it’s a catastrophe."

When quizzed further, he replied: “The country is finished.”
The Love Actually star’s comments didn’t go down to well with Piers Morgan, 54, who shared his thoughts on Twitter.
In view of his seven million followers, the Good Morning Britain host shared Hugh’s interview with the caption: “Hugh Grant is so disgusting.
