Britain will experience mixed weather on the weekend (Image: WX CHARTS )
On Saturday morning England and Wales will enjoy a brighter, much milder morning. Scotland and Northern Ireland will have a cloudier, wetter and windier experience. Met Office meteorologist Bonnie Diamond explained: “It does look like around dawn the cloud will clear in southern England and after that it will turn into a clear, mild day with decent spells of sunshine.
“In Northern Ireland and Scotland, it’s a different story.
“It’s windy with blustery showers and cloudier.”
Ms Diamond said “things will start to brighten up” later in the day.
The maximum high for Saturday will be 13C (55.4F) in the southeast of England.
