Susan Boyle was left “hiding” in a bathroom after being spotted by “a group of lasses” recently. The Britain’s Got Talent legend said she “didn’t feel like” chatting to anyone that day so ran away.

The 58-year-old was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome less than eight years ago and sometimes has to escape the crowds.

Speaking to Northern Life Magazine, the Scottish singer revealed what happened during a recent outing.

She commented: “A group of lasses saw me, and I didn’t feel like talking to anybody on that particular day.

“So, I made a run for it and ended up hiding in a cubicle in the ladies’ toilets.”

When asked if she flushed the loo before leaving the cubicle, she quipped: “That’s a rather personal question, of course, I did!”

Susanna was bullied from a young age but found the strength to brush it off: “You have to stick up for yourself.

“If they see you as weak, they’ll just give you more!”

Meanwhile, during the chat, the soloist discussed performing with someone else, after taking to the stage with the likes of Michael Ball and Elaine Paige.
