Pierce (played by Jonathan Wrather) returned to Emmerdale last month as it was revealed he was the villager who killed Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) despite not being on the official suspect list. It was all part of his plan to mess with Rhona’s (Zoe Henry) life once again and with the village vet none-the-wiser to his comeback or involvement in her late boyfriend’s murder, she is unaware her ex-husband is secretly stalking her. Keeping himself in the shadows, fans have been outraged how no other character has realised the villain on the ITV soap.
Scenes airing during Friday’s instalment saw Pierce pop up in several well-known places in the village, before breaking into his ex-wife’s house.
Whilst inside the cottage, the villain moved a few items around to make his presence known before fleeing the scene when Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) turned up.
Rhona’s friend failed to catch the intruder as she didn’t realise the villain was in the house, let alone back in the Dales.
The vet knew something was off about the situation but didn’t realise how much danger she was in, with her attacker watching her from outside the building, leaving viewers to question how no other character had spotted him sneaking around.
