Linda (played by Kellie Bright) has been struggling to get a handle on her drinking problem in recent scenes, with her alcoholism storyline beginning just before Christmas on EastEnders. Mick (Danny Dyer) has been at his wit's end with regards to helping his wife, as she has lashed out at him in a drunken rage several times and even took their young son Ollie Carter (Harry Farr) out of school. The BBC soap landlord was left with no choice but to report his beloved to social services and although she will seek help in the coming weeks, their relationship troubles won’t be over anytime soon. With hints her husband could be about to have an affair as he seeks comfort in the arms of another, will his other half be left seeking revenge?
It’s already been teased a spark will be rekindled between Mick and his former daughter-in-law Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) ahead of the soap’s 35th-anniversary episodes airing later this month.
The pair have shared a kiss in the past after the landlord gave into temptation when Linda was living away from Walford as she was dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
Even though the betrayal was exposed, the beloved couple got back on track and seemed to be in a good place before their young son Ollie was diagnosed with autism.
Whereas her husband suffered panic attacks as the pressure mounted on them, the landlady turned to the bottle and now actress Kellie, 43, has revealed the couple’s relationship is taken to the very brink but does this mean her character’s husband will cheat on his wife?

Speaking to Mirror TV, the soap star explained of the couple’s troubles: “It gets as bad as you can possibly imagine it would get.”
However, whatever happens, Kellie added: “But Mick and Linda are Mick and Linda and I think they won't give up without a fight, let's put it that way.”
If Mick were to betray his wife with his former flame, it’s likely she won’t be best pleased and with her drink troubles escalating, she could plot to expose the pair.
