HBO will be showing new documentary McMillions tonight (Monday, February 3), delving into a scam which lasted for more than a decade, with millions of dollars being stolen from McDonald’s through the Monopoly game. Here’s everything you need to know about the new docu-series.
McMillions will tell the story of Jerry Jacobson, an ex-police officer who became a security auditor for the company which ran the Monopoly game on behalf of McDonald’s.

From 1989-2001, Jacobson managed to rig McDonald’s well-known game and built a network of co-conspirators throughout the US to help him with his scheme.
