Marlon (played by Mark Charnock) has been wrongfully locked up for Graham’s (Andrew Scarborough) death in Emmerdale and he’s really not coping in prison. Tonight’s instalment saw the Woolpack chef worry he could be targeted in prison due to his link with former policewoman Donna (Verity Rushworth) as Cain (Jeff Hordley) instructed him to keep his head down.
Cain met Marlon during visiting hours to keep him updated on the Free Marlon campaign and reveal how April was coping without her dad.
As Marlon began to cry, Cain told him: “Hey come on, you can’t do that in here.
“You’ve got to keep it together, don’t let these people see you cry, you got me?”
Marlon was later telling Cain: “I don’t know how long I can cope with this, I’m not tough like you.”

“You’ll get through it,” Cain insisted.
Marlon continued: “It’s like a zoo, I’m a blooming lamb and there’s 200 tigers in the cages next to me.
“I’m scared. It might not go to court until June and then I could get life.”
Cain instructed: “The track is not to show anything, show no emotion at all.”
