Walking Dead season 10: Will Michonne die in next episode?

Fans of AMC's The Walking Dead have come to love the feisty and independent Michonne (played by Danai Gurira). Sadly the actress confirmed this season will be her last on the show. Fans are yet to find out how and when she will go but they have their theories.

Fans have taken to Reddit to discuss how Michonne will make her exit in the series.

Some have suggested Virgil (Kevin Carroll) could play a part in her leaving.

The last episode, called The World Before, saw Michonne meet Virgil who had been accused of being a Whisperer.

Michonne questions Virgil about his motives and he says he is simply looking for supplies so he can return home.

The pair make a deal and Michonne agrees to help him get back to his family in exchange for weapons.

She leaves behind young Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming) who she has been taking care of, and the episode ends with Michonne and Virgil sailing away together.

Fans are convinced Virgil is a part of the CRM - an advanced network of survivors.

Followers of the show are comparing Virgil to Jadis (Pollyanna Macintosh), the leader of the Scavengers who rescued an injured Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).
