Linda Carter (played by Kellie Bright) has had a tough few months as she continues to try and fail to get a grip on her drinking problem. The EastEnders landlady was worried when she discovered her behaviour was affecting Ollie Carter but the shame of his accusation has led to her hitting the bottle even more. What will it take for Linda to give up drinking for good?
Linda and Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) were devastated when they were told by Ollie’s teacher someone had put in a complaint about Linda’s behaviour.
After demanding to know who was responsible, the pair were stunned when she revealed Ollie had told his teacher he was scared of his mum.
Instead of this news shocking Linda into making a change, it drove the landlady to drinking more and putting her son’s life in danger.
In tonight’s episode of the BBC soap, Linda was humiliated by the other children’s mothers when she dropped Ollie off at school.

The confrontation sparked a series of events which led Linda passed out in her kitchen with the oven on.
Linda found a bottle of alcohol she had stashed at an earlier date in the kitchen and was under the influence when Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) dropped Ollie home.
The concerned mother noticed Linda was drunk as she questioned why she could no longer pick up Ollie from school.
Linda saw the red at the accusations and threw a cup at Chantelle which luckily missed her head and smashed on the wall.
