Ben, 33, was one of the 12 contestants revealed to be taking part in this year’s edition of Dancing on Ice, partnered with professional skater, Carlotta Edwards, 30. The magician has stayed within the top half of the leaderboards over the past five weeks, making him a strong contender to take the crown. However, his chances of even making it to the next round don’t look great. Could he be the fifth celebrity to be booted off the ITV reality show?
As the final approaches, the number of contestants taking part is dramatically starting to dwindle, especially after Caprice Bourret, 48, withdrew from the show last weekend.
The show still went on however and with three celebrities already having hung up their skates after being voted off by the judging panel, it was Kevin Kilbane, 43, who became the latest eliminated star.
However, Ben had a better stroke of luck as he emerged as the second favourite competitor of Fairytale week, scoring an impressive 30 out of a possible 40.
Unfortunately, his standing might be very different tonight as bookmakers aren’t seeing a lot of support for the magician amongst punters.

Online bookmakers thepools.com have Ben at 50/1 to win the show in a few weeks time on their latest odds table, making his the most likely to be eliminated this evening.
Not too far in front is former Love Island star Maura Higgins, 29, who’s chances of victory currently stand at 25/1, after she found herself in the middle of the leaderboard last weekend with a score of 28 out of a possible 40.
Despite the odds weighing against him, the magician is still remains optimistic about tonight’s show which will see the remaining seven contestants take on routines based around different styles of dance.
The current favourite to leave will be performing with Carlotta to the song Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men.
