As viewers know by now, The Split follows a tight-knit family who runs a law firm which specialises in divorce. But, the last series saw Hannah Stern (played by Nicola Walker) looking as if she was about to embark on a sordid affair with Christie Carmichael (Barry Atsma), but what’s next for the Defoe family? Nicola Walker has now revealed that there is a lot more devastation on her horizon.

Viewers may know that series one of The Split saw Hannah Stern left devastated and heartbroken when it was revealed that her husband Nathan (Stephen Manghan) had had an affair, when it was made public on a website. 

The show also centred around the ins and outs of the family-run law firm specialising in divorce cases. 

But with Hannah choosing to turn her back to her family's firm, she worked for Noble and Hale, a rival business where she worked with her ex-boyfriend Christie. 

But the series finale saw Hannah choosing Christie over Nathan, so what does the future hold for the couple in series two?
