On Sunday evening, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood took home two Academy Awards out of its 10 Oscar nominations. The love letter to Tinseltown was headed up by three of Hollywood’s biggest stars in Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. But now it’s been revealed that another big celebrity auditioned, but failed to get cast.
And it turns out it was none other than Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin.
The audition was the 39-year-old’s first in almost a decade and he felt it went horrendously.
Speaking with Esquire, Culkin admitted: “It was a disaster.
“I wouldn’t have hired me.”

Culkin added: “I’m terrible at auditioning anyway, and this was my first audition in like eight years.”
The actor wouldn’t reveal what part he was auditioning for, but the outlet speculates it could have been Manson Murderer Tex Watson.
That part went to Austin Butler, who next stars as Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming biopic.
