The BBC One drama has been getting more intense with every episode in the build-up to Eastenders’ anniversary week which will start on Monday, February 16. In last night’s instalment, fans saw Keanu Taylor (played by Danny Walters) return to kidnap Callum Highway (Tony Clay) and demand £100,000 from Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) for his boyfriend’s safe return. Viewers will just have to wait and see to find out if Callum will be rescued before Keanu does something he could live to regret.
Last week, things came to a head between veteran Eastender Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and son Bobby (Clay Milner Russell).
The pair haven’t been getting on recently and when Ian tried to use his son’s ceremony where he converted to Islam for a publicity stunt, Bobby stormed out and told his father not to go.
When Max Branning (Jake Wood) sees how much the argument has upset Bobby, he offers to give him some moral support while he tries to make up with his dad.
However, this causes even more problems for the Beale family.

Bobby overhears his dad say: “How could I love somebody like that?”, referring to his youngest son.
The pair start arguing again when Bobby states Max had been more of a father to him than Ian had ever been which really hits a nerve.
Furious at his son when he had previously forgiven him for killing his sister Lucy (Hetti Bywater), Ian threw Bobby out onto the street and refused to have anything to do with him from now on.
