Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley, 32, travelled to Leeds for her latest gig, titled Conversations with Stacey. The investigative journalist appeared to encounter some travel problems with London North Eastern Railway (LNER) on her way back to London.
The small-screen star took to Twitter and fumed at railway staff for their alleged “rudeness” after she addressed an issue with her rail ticket.
Stacey did not go into too much detail on the incident but vented her frustrations on the micro-blogging site.
In view of her 311,000 followers, she said: “@LNER… at least your terrible customer service is consistent.
“I’ve just had a member of your staff tell me I’m lying about information I told her I was given regarding a ticket. Her solution was to ‘Get off at Doncaster.’ Ace,” followed by a star emoji.

The rail company in question replied: “Sorry to hear that Stacey. What’s the issue?”
She replied: “The issue is the unnecessary rudeness from your staff. And their complete unwillingness to listen.”
It is unclear what the outcome was of Stacey’s travel situation but LNER did follow up on her query and asked Stacey to send them a direct message instead.
Express.co.uk has contacted a spokesperson for LNER for comment.
It comes after the TV presenter made a rare live appearance for her new tour, Conversations with Stacey.
