BBC Weather’s Nick Miller warned a deluge of wet and windy weather is moving across Europe with a zone of snow expected across Scandinavia. But southeast Europe will see sunny spells as Moscow reaches 12C for the first time this year. As the week goes on, London and Paris can expect it to warm up too.
Mr Miller said: “Some further spells of wet and windy weather pushing across Europe at the moment.
“Very windy at times through France, very wet too and in northern areas of Spain.
“It will all push down to the southeast as well.
“For Wednesday, Italy and the Alps and a bit of a gap between weather systems with wet weather in the Balkans and bearing down on Bucharest.

“A lot of cloud across Europe and some patchy rain reaching southern parts of the UK and a zone of snow affecting parts of Norway, Sweden and Finland.
“The east of that the air coming up for the south is ridiculously warm for this time of year in Moscow at 12C.
“It’s going to be a little drier in Paris and a little brighter in London
