Tamzin Outhwaite, 49, the former EastEnders star, used social media to answer the question about whether to get some work done on her house while the majority of the nation are at home. However, some users slammed the actress and questioned her comments.
Tamzin wrote to her 223,000 followers: "I’m confused.
"Can I find 1 or 2 workmen to level and tile an area of the garden in these times?"
Tamzin then followed her original statement up with another tweet as she added: "There still seems to be outdoor garden & building work happening. Grey area?"
Soon after the soap star reached out to her fans, many of her followers said the work she was enquiring about was "non-essential" but "saving lives is".
