Yasmeen Nazir (played by Shelley King) will meet secretly with two police officers this week on Coronation Street who will reveal who Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) really is and who else he has abused. But when Yasmeen packs her bags to leave Geoff once and for all after months of emotional and physical abuse, Geoff will fake his own death on the ITV soap. Will Yasmeen be pulled right back to his side?
Chef Yasmeen has been coercively controlled by her husband Geoff ever since the two returned from their honeymoon.
Geoff has done anything in his power to break Yasmeen’s self-esteem as well as cutting off her credit cards and killing and eating her pet chicken.
But this week the tide will change and Yasmeen will slowly start realising the horror house she has been living in.
Yasmeen’s granddaughter Alya (Sair Khan) has been trying to force her grandma to face her reality for a couple of weeks now, but finally, Yasmeen is giving into her concerns.

She will finally pluck up the courage to leave Geoff once and for all, telling Alya she is going to join her in Spain.
