Boris Johnson health update: PM 'sitting up in bed' as he continues coronavirus ...

The Prime Minister was admitted to hospital on Sunday night where his conditions worsened and he was then moved to intensive care on Monday night but he did not need ventilation. Chancellor Rishi Sunak has said Prime Minister Boris Johnson remains in intensive care at St Thomas' Hospital but is "improving" and has been sitting up in bed and engaging with his clinical team. It comes a total of 6,483 people in the UK have died from COVID-19 up by 828 in the past 24 hours.
