Carol Vorderman, 59, has admitted she became emotional after watching a heartwarming video of a 92-year-old man playing a trumpet in support of the NHS and key workers during the coronavirus pandemic. The former Countdown presenter was tagged in the video by a fan on Twitter following last night’s Clap for Carers event.
The post read: “@carolvorders hi Carol! Here’s Les from Failand.
“He’s 92 and playing his beloved trumpet in support of the NHS and key workers xx.”
The clip showed Les playing Bring Me Sunshine by Eric & Ernie outside his front door, which prompted his neighbours to applaud his efforts.
Carol opened up about her tearful reaction to the clip in view of her 435,000 followers.
