Eamonn Holmes, 60, has gushed about his wife Ruth Langsford’s “beautiful nose”. However, the star, who is appearing on Keith Lemon’s show Through The Keyhole tonight, was unsure about whether it was a “strange” way to compliment his other half.

Eamonn made the admission on a recent episode of BBC Two show I’ll Get This alongside Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon, Strictly Come Dancing star Joe Sugg, Radio One host Alice Levine and comedian Phil Wang.

The This Morning favourite revealed that Ruth would have preferred it if he had praised her “ or bottom”.

Eamonn got onto the subject when Joe explained that he recognised his girlfriend Dianne Buswell when she was in disguise as part of a prank because of her nose.

He told the YouTuber: “So you recognised her nose? That’s a lovely thing.
