#TheWalkingDead: Killed off star says it 'would've made sense' to live on in ...

With more deaths inevitably on the way in the delayed season 10 finale on AMC, The Walking Dead fans are currently gearing up for which surprises lies ahead between Beta (played by Ryan Hurst) and the likes of Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). However, fans will be all too familiar with the group worming their way out of imminent danger before, none more so than when it came to taking on the Saviors a few seasons ago. One man who wasn't so lucky to survive, however, was Hilltop fighter Tobin (Jason Douglas).

Under the orders of Hilltop leader Maggie (Lauren Cohan), the community readied itself from an attack by the Saviours in season eight, episode 13.

The episode, titled Do Not Send Us Away, saw Hilltop come under heavy fire as Negan's deputy Simon (Steven Ogg) closed in with his army.

However, the group were well-equipped to deal with the attack, setting up traps for the Saviors to walk into, forcing them to retreat.

The TWD battle wasn't without its fair share of casualties, however, and sadly for everyone, especially Carol (Melissa McBride), Tobin was stabbed by one of the enemy soldiers.
