Former Loose Women star Jane McDonald, 57, took to Twitter and explained that her team had attempted to reschedule a tour date in Gateshead but they "didn't manage to find a suitable date". The news comes after the Cruising singer had to postpone her music tour back in March amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In view of her 157,000 Twitter followers, Jane announced her show in Gateshead had been cancelled for her Let Light The Light In Tour which is taking place next year.
She penned: "We didn't manage to find a suitable 2021 date for The Sage in #Gateshead so the show is now cancelled (venue will refund tickets).
"However I'm pleased to announce a new date at the O2 City Hall #Newcastle for Thursday 15 July 2021."
The TV star was due to perform tour dates across the UK but all of the shows have been postponed until 2021.

Another person commented: "You never give up do you? You are such a star. I’m trying to figure out how I can fit this in after Edinburgh while making my way to Blackpool."
While a third person added: "We all need to keep safe and it was a wise decision rescheduling but I must admit I do have moments of sadness that I won’t see you till next year. Keep safe and well."
The news comes after Jane released a statement earlier this year, confirming that she had to postpone her music tour due to Covid-19.
