Former Homes Under The Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander, 50, has responded to Tamzin Outhwaite’s tweet after the ex EastEnders star denied she has signed up to Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! following reports she could be joining the respective line-ups this year.
Lucy jokingly asked her friend if she could sign up for the shows instead after Tamzin revealed she had ruled them out.
The actress tweeted: “Morning! I just read an article saying I’m doing strictly, then another that I’m heading off to the jungle.
“I am sure nobody gives a poop but neither are true.
“I’m waiting til our industry starts up to begin filming a drama & waiting for The Seagull to reopen. #truth.”

In response to a Twitter user, Tamzin went on to say she thinks she might not end up having work until next year.
“Fingers crossed something will come back,” she added.
Lucy responded to Tamzin’s post, writing: “Can I have your Strictly place then? Or even the jungle?!! [crying with laughter emojis] #nowork.”
A Twitter user replied to Lucy, writing: “You in the jungle....that would be worth watching.... let's see what happened later in the show!!”
