Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard, 45, has taken the opportunity to congratulate his co-star Adil Ray, 46, after he revealed he is set to front a new quiz show coming to ITV this winter named Lingo. Ben, who has experience hosting game shows from ITV’s Tipping Point, joked there was “no going back” for Adil following the exciting news.
It comes after GMB star Adil shared his announcement in view of his 67,000 Twitter followers and thanked Ben and ITV for the “fantastic opportunity”.
He tweeted: “Thank you so much to @itv and @benshephard & Wildcard for this fantastic opportunity.
“Beyond excited. I’m doing a bloomin gameshow! Bloomin eck! - Adil Ray to front Wildcard's Lingo for ITV - Televisual.”(sic)
Ben retweeted Adil’s post in view of his own 754,000 Twitter followers and replied: “Finally it’s out there - @adilray no going back now, can’t wait!!”
