It comes after a viewer took to Twitter to ask Adam and his co-star Monty Don if there are plans to continue the BBC programme throughout winter and into the spring.

The person in question asked: "Dear @TheMontyDon @GWandShows @BBCTwo please, please will you continue #GardenersWorld throughout the winter into spring.

"It’s so uplifting and I reckon we’ll all need this even more through the next few months. Please retweet if you agree #GardensHour @[email protected]"

While Adam didn't directly respond to the post, he did retweet the post on his official Twitter account as the social media user requested people did if they agreed with the idea.
