Away season two could be on the cards for Netflix as fans are waiting to find out what happens to Emma Green (played by Hilary Swank) and her crew. The NASA team completed the turbulent trip to Mars, despite all the ups and downs, and they are keen to create new life. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about season two of Away.
The first season of Away landed on Netflix on September 4, 2020, and the highly anticipated series tells the story of the importance of family.
The series follows astronaut Emma who is tied to Earth by her husband Matt Logan (Josh Charles) and teenage daughter Lex (Talitha Bateman).
Emma and her NASA crew gave up everything to become the first people to set foot on Mars, but they suffered internally for it.
However, the sacrifice was worth it, as despite almost giving up on the mission, they landed on Mars without a scratch.
There is likely to be another series as fans are keen to find out whether the group creates new life on Mars, and whether they return safely home.
However, an official release date for season two is yet to come, as the second instalment has not been confirmed.

Swank will undoubtedly reprise her role as Emma, with Charles and Bateman joining the cast once more.
Ato Essandoh, Mark Ivanir, Ray Panthaki and Vivian Wu will also star again as Kwesi, Misha, Ram and Lu Wang.
Monique Curnen will also return as Crew Support Melissa Ramirez, with Adam Irigoyen as Lex's boyfriend Isaac.
NASA boss Darlene Cole (Gabrielle Rose) will return along with the rest of the NASA ground team.
Speaking about the casting for the series, creator Andrew Hinderaker said: "We have one episode where we learn a lot about Vivian’s character.
"That episode was intensely researched and yet there was a scene where she had comments and so we then went in and reshaped it.
