Britain's Got Talent may have been on a hiatus for the past few months but tonight, Saturday, September 5, it will return for its semi-finals. The ITV talent competition will see the first eight contestants compete for your votes. Whoever gets through will then have a chance to win the grand prize of £250,000 and a slot on the Royal Variety Performance.
Britain's Got Talent filmed its auditions at the beginning of the year before the country went into lockdown.
So fans were able to enjoy the pre-recorded episodes during the early weeks of the coronavirus pandemic.
But due to the worldwide circumstances, the semi-finals had to be put on hold for several months.
Now it is time though for the contestants who had been put through to show the country what they are really made of in the semi-final shows.

For many years, viewers could vote for their favourite acts by calling a landline number or text who they wanted to back.
But for the past few seasons, this traditional method of voting has been scrapped and replaced with a far more up-to-date version.
Instead, voters will need to download the Britain's Got Talent app to be able to cast their vote.
The app is available on iOS via the Apple App Store and Android through the Google Play Store.
