On today’s edition of Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan revealed he had been blasted as “fat” by his friend Kevin Pietersen. Susanna Reid questioned his “weird” friendship with the former England cricketer before light-heartedly teasing her co-host about his size and demanded he “lose the weight now”.
Piers read out Kevin’s tweet which said: “Very good five minutes on @GMB there talking about the benefits of weight loss and being healthy.
“Maybe @piersmorgan should practice what he preaches?
“Maybe if he wasn’t so FAT (and we know that’s a type of person COVID hits), he’d STOP his scare-mongering?”
When Susanna questioned his friendship with Kevin, the GMB host revealed he appreciated the cricketer was always straight with him.
