Sharon (played by Letitia Dean) was having to deal with the repercussions of Dotty Cotton’s (Millie Zero) revelation about Denny (Bleu Landau) at the beginning of Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders. Despite the teenager telling the truth, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) managed to manipulate the situation to play in his favour. For this reason, it seemed the Queen Vic landlady was buying his version of events of the fateful night of the boat crash over the accusations made by the youngster. But with so much talk about the pair getting married on the BBC soap, will the bride-to-be bide her time before destroying her son’s killer once and for all?
After taking some time by herself to think through what Dotty had said, Sharon returned to the pub to confront her friend.
The landlady asked why Ian had failed to say what had happened to Denny, with the ruthless businessman trying to dig him out of a hole after telling the truth with a slightly different angle.
Seeing him squirm, the mother-of-two then told her friend it must have been because he cared so much for her, to which he agreed.
Before the conversation could go on any further, the mother of teenager’s killer Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) wanted to speak with her son about using Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) money from his share of Walford East to buy the Queen Vic.
Leaving them to it, the stalwart didn’t hear the conversation about weddings but it did seem she had the villain firmly on her side now.
