ITV host Lorraine Kelly, 60, shares 24-year-old daughter Rosie with her husband Steve Smith. The presenter took to Twitter and responded to a post by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, who shared the story of the country's Justice Minister Humza Yousaf and his wife Nadia El-Nakla and their loss.
In view of her 7.5 million followers, Nicola tweeted a heartfelt message to the couple.
She penned: "Brave account of miscarriage from @HumzaYousaf & Nadia El-Nakla. It’s an experience my husband & I had just once, but it never leaves you.
"Nadia’s account of the physical pain especially sparks awful memories. We don’t talk about all this enough."
Agreeing with Nicola's post, Lorraine shared her own experience as she tweeted a poignant message.
