Clare Balding revealed that her pal will be making a home for one of her recently born kittens - a British Shorthair named Freddie. It comes after the BBC sports presenter and her wife Alice Arnold announced the arrival of five kittens on Twitter.
The 47-year-old took to Instagram and accompanied her post with a picture of her stunning kitten Freddie.
In the caption, Clare warned her friend to be careful as her new feline friend has a tendency to "scratch" the furniture.
In view of her 37,000 followers, she penned: "Freddie is off this evening to change my friend’s life.
"She will dote on him and he is so affectionate I know he’ll return that love in bucketfuls."
