Meghan took part in a video conference with three women helped by one of her most beloved patronages, Smart Works. During this call, which Meghan carried out sitting on a white chair now very well known to fans of the Sussexes as it has been featured in every recent videos with the Duchess, the royal spoke about the activity carried out by Smart Works as well as marking an important anniverary for the charity.
In September 2019, the Duchess of Sussex launched the Smart Set Capsule Collection after a collaboration with fashion designers and British retailers.
This collection, which consists in smart-casual items of clothing such as a white shirt, a black dress and large and versatile bag, helped Smart Works and its clients not just with the popularity it gains but also thorugh donations.
For every item bought at the stores taking part in the promotion, one was donated to the charity's wardrobe.
This direct 1:1 model has meant that for every item purchased by a customer, another was given to help a woman back into the workplace, the charity explained.

Marking this poignant anniversary, Smart Works CEO, Kate Stephens said: "The Smart Set Capsule Collection has been a revolution for our wardrobes.
