Julie and the Phantoms season two is a possibility for Netflix as viewers of all ages have enjoyed the upbeat series. High School Musical creator Kenny Ortega directed the series, which follows a young student who needs help rekindling her passion for music. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about season two.
Julie and the Phantoms arrived on Netflix on September 10, 2020, and the series follows high school student Julie (played by Madison Reyes) who lost her mother.
The ghosts of three musicians (Charlie Gillespie, Jeremy Shada, Owen Patrick Joyner) from 1995 appear in her mother's old music studio and they help her find her passion for music again.
Together they form a new band - Julie and the Phantoms, and the coming-of-age series is full of passion and power.
Sadly as the new series has just landed, it is too early to say whether season two will be given the green light.
If Netflix does decide to renew the series, it should arrive towards the end of 2021, albeit with the coronavirus pandemic putting TV production on pause, fans may have to wait a little longer.
