DENISE WELCH - actress, presenter and panellist on Loose Women - has hit out at Health Secretary Matt Hancock after he reminded Twitter users about the new rule of six, which was put into place yesterday as coronavirus cases rise across the UK.

Loose Women panellist Denise Welch, 62, has recently called out the Government for “scaremongering” people during the coronavirus pandemic. Yesterday, she blasted Health Secretary Matt Hancock, 41, as he spoke out about the new coronavirus pandemic rule on Twitter.

Matt shared a post which read: “In England from Monday 14 September, you cannot meet socially in groups of more than 6 people.”

In view of his 343,000 followers, he added: “From today we can’t socialise in groups larger than 6.

“It’s vital people follow the rules to control the spread of coronavirus & save lives.”

Denise shared Matt’s post, writing: “F**K OFF!!!!!!!!! You are causing untold damage to our lives and the lives of our children!!!!”

The Loose Women star’s outburst prompted many of her 482,000 followers to share their thoughts.

One Twitter user commented: “Since when have u been an expert on coronavirus aren’t u getting enough attention in ur so called famous life #shutup.”(sic)

Hitting back, Denise replied: “F**k off!!!”

Another commented: “Well no one follows any restrictions, no point... the amount of people I see not wearing masks in shops, not social distancing... a joke.”
