Kate Middleton and Prince William will often attend royal engagements together. Just this week, they were spotted making a number of visits in East London.

Kate Middleton body language shows she 'stepped up to take over reins'

The Duchess of Cambridge mostly stayed out of the public eye before she married.

But after the couple wed - on April 29, 2011 - she took on a working role in the Royal Family.

Since then, Kate has carried out engagements both by herself, with other royals and with Prince William.

The pair have made many royal outings together, but their body language could show a shift in their relationship.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, body language expert Judi James explained they have become a power couple.

The royals' apparent new approach to their royal position may have come as Kate's confidence has improved.

“The couple’s body language does seem to define them as a true royal power couple," she said.

"As we saw Kate grow from an ordinary, non-royal girl to future queen the sense of approachability has always been implied.
