Eamonn Holmes, 60, and Ruth Langsford, 60, have been firm fixtures on This Morning since 2006. The presenting duo often front the ITV show on Fridays and cover Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby's holidays.
The TV anchor has since taken to Twitter and responded to a social media user after they praised Eamonn and his wife's on-screen "partnership".
The person in question wrote: "I love how @EamonnHolmes leaves Ruth to it during the make up segments on @thismorning and she carries the show with class. Signs of what a supportive partnership they have."
Eamonn took the opportunity to respond to the message and shared a series of emojis including a smiling face, clapping hands and a thumbs up.
His response comes after it has been claimed that the ITV star and his wife Ruth are reportedly concerned they could lose their presenting jobs as This Morning make efforts to diversify the ITV show.

A source has commented that "nobody" wants to see the "popular duo" leave the programme but tough decisions are ahead.
They said: "Eamonn fears he is basically too 'pale, stale and male', and, at 60, perhaps not in line with the youth drive broadcasters are after.
"The shows execs have some very tricky decisions."
"One possibility is to keep the couple on as regular holiday cover but lose their regular Friday slot," the source continued to The Sun.
